Classical Portraits:In Progress
I am usually do two painting works at same time that makes easier to look back at the ongoing paintings with fresh eyes.
One is quickly painted on the pencil sketched canvas, about 2nd stage putting color. It is ready to go more detailed rendering.
Another one is casually pencil sketched to get whole look of image after the photo shoot with my model. this is commissioned work, I am amazed with the fact everyone has different aura and atmosphere!!
for special encouragement, Thank you Bobby.

Why people go to gallery.
In my brain, there were an argument that whether the painting work is just a linen fablic with nice colors or something more valuable.
You know, some nice canvas-prints are found at winners for about 50 dollars. Good price.
But is it really the painting only to decorate wall? I saw the answer for myself.
Today, I went to some gallery in Lakeshore and saw barbizon style paintings.
It is the normal local color, and normal green landscape. but.....the brush strokes are just amazing! I really felt the artist out her spirit in each brush strokes....and I felt the warm wind, temperatures of the forest. This painting had real "aura".

What Being Freelance Artist Means...
From Bobby, I learned being an freelance artist takes so much responsibility...
There are two kinds: the one settle down with mediocre(struggling with mortgages with mild income), and the other strives for establishing own name (so he eventually might get upper-middle class level...)
Both options have uncertainty. Let me figure out how much energy I can put into.
